Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Issue was resolved through autodoc, they processed a refund despite not having received the item. Neither autodoc nor myself have received any communication from EVRi whatsoever, despite autodoc filing an official complaint several weeks ago.
I eventually recieved a refund through autodoc after chasing them up a couple times. After 7 weeks of waiting, I asked them to leverage their business relationship with evri to seek a resolution, and they processed the refund despite still not having received the item.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Eventually they cancelled the collection and arranged for a refund.
The automated services is shocking and keeps me in a loop, the chat bot is useless and just tells me someone will be in touch in 24 hours for the past 4 days.
I've since arranged collection with actual courier since then so I just need it refunding.
1 week later i received a useless apology and they said they have rearranged collection even though I don't have the item anymore as I see someone else so evri have refused to refund me essentially. Also they let me pay for insurance on an item that isn't covered.

- Not possible to speak to a person in a reasonable time
- Tracking doesnt update

User's recommendation: Simple, don't use Evri for home collections because they don't arrive, then it's it's possible to get a response in a reasonable time and then they refuse to refund you for a service they haven't provided.

On a visit to my local post office, to send an important letter Tracked, The post master recommemded the Evri service. i was ok with that, i just needed to be able to track the envelope to the receiver.
a few days later my wife had checked Evri tracker, and advised me the driver could not find the Address for delivery, ( not a good start ), so she had a chat online ( useless) so we left it over the weekend and re checked on the Monday, Now they could not find the Letter !, I rang the number given, auto questions then asked to leave a message, i did, and also on two other days following, No contact back, I had advised in message that email would be best, as i work customer facing, and taking calls is an issue at work, i also attemted to use the auto AI online chat ( More than Useless ) - i rang the Receiver to check if they had received it and to advise the issue i was experiencing with EVRI delivery & tracker.
The following day when checking, the tracker advised the envelope was on its way and out for delivery ( thought we were finally getting their ) - next day the Envelope i had sent was delivered !!! YEP you can guess it - it dropped through my Letter BOX - returned to me, SO i Paid £4.15 to send a important letter ( to my Self ) no i am not that Idiot - when digging a little further in tracker - & using the AI auto chat it just advises - do not reconise the Post Code.
I had rang the Receiver before sending the envelope and twice during this episode, to confirm Receivers POST Code.
The Following day 21st Feb - i had reprinted all the contents and re visited the Post Office, i advised him of my Escapaid with EVRI service, So this time we Sent the Important Envelope by Royal Mail - tracked - Two days later the Receiver rang me- to advise the 2nd Posting by Royal Mail service had arrived.
I had used the same address & post code - so EVRI have an issue.
So i am £4.15 out of pocket to Evri, and gone round and round in circles on the EVRI website to try and contact them to resolve the issue on their more than UN user Friendly web site for Issues with Service.
I have more than 40 years of face to face customer employment, and the EVRI web site, does not allow / make it easy to contact them with any issues, this makes it a Poor Customer service Provider in my opinion.

The delivery driver Angel lied about the delivery address. The business is not closed.
It is a school and it is open during school hours on weekdays and there are people on site and resident on site. There is no way to communicate with Hermes except through bots or to contact Germany.

If there is no other choice uf I'm force to the took itcapon them self to send my parcel back without authorisation and now my items are out of stock from the retailer I just the whole company just closes I'm really upset that the ruin my Xmas 2023
The customer service chat why couldn't it recognise the post code what is going on I need some answers this is do sad I was waiting on those items thus I have notified temu another complaint website I just don't get it I am expecting this parcel to be delivered tomorrow to the parcel shop because no where in writhing have I again ask for or requested or authorised anu type of return my working hours are busy tomorrow I cannot even ring I have contacted Temu as well about this please sort it out
This postal service will lose it customers at this rate if my parcel is not posted Xmas I damaged I will not use the service by choice and will hold fear if the service is being used to transport my items in the future I hope faith can be restored tomorrow or I get some answers why something so simple has ended up do terribly wrong
